Context management is one thing Twitter is missing. By that I mean, I should be allowed to group people I’m following by category. There are some I want to follow throughout the day, others only occasionally or as needed.
For instance, it would be fun to follow someone who was offering commentary on the Colts game but I would want to be able to turn it on and off. Color commentary via Twitter. I might be on to something.
If, by chance, the option to group on Twitter already exists please let me know.

Yeah, tweetdeck is nice for functionality like this. My only problem with it is it just takes too much visual space. Anyone know if they’ve redesigned anything yet to improve space usage?
