Update on my use of Tweetdeck.  I like some of its features but apparently do not have the aptitude to get all the settings right.

After clearing all read tweets, REPLIES for instance, they return whenever I close and reopen Tweetdeck.  Why do they not stay cleared?

I do like being able to create groups though I am still working on the best use of this feature.  I do not find it easy to manage.

Is there a way to stop following someone via the TweetDeck controls?

I would also like to be able to make the thing much smaller.

I agree with you on TweetDeck. It just takes up too much room. From any twitter client though I believe you can unfollow someone by typing “leave username”.

You can unfollow someone, but clicking on their name, their profile comes up and you can add them to groups, follow or unfollow

Duh! That was so easy. Thanks, Lorraine.
