Had to check in with my trainer today regarding a weight goal. Made it by .8 lbs. My target was 330lbs and I came in at 329.2. Heck, if i’d waited another 30 mins I would have been under 329. Next goal set. January 1st – 310lbs.

From Jody, my friend in the Land of Lubbock. “Your focus cannot be on NOT failing.” Negative motivators can be powerful in the short term but in the long run they don’t provide the impetus to grow.  It’s the difference between surviving or thriving.  For someone who hates to fail, this is a good reminder.

Cold, wet weekend.  We were hoping for snow but no such luck.   Instead, steady wind and rain. Got my first tast of Yome living.  This was a nice addition to the camping experience.  We would have been miserable otherwise.  Six of us slept inside. Nice view looking out from the Yome.
